Water Pitcher
Please remember: where there’s wine, there should always be water.
Water pitchers are the kind of thing where you could splurge on beautiful designs that can double as flower vases, you could hit up yard sales and Goodwill shops, or you could just skip it entirely and put plastic water bottles from the grocery or the Brita from your fridge on the table.
I’ve grown to prefer having a nice water pitcher on the table during my wine tastings. My husband and I were gifted a beautiful (and very Danish) Georg Jensen water carafe as a wedding gift when we first moved to Denmark, and we recently picked up a blue and white antique English water pitcher at Alice’s Antiques on Portobello Road in London. Were either of those necessary? Not really. But they do make keeping guests hydrated feel a lot more luxurious.
