Bread Basket
If you want to keep things extra quick and simple, just serve bread at your Wineluck Club tastings. Cubes of bread served in baskets are what you find at most professional tastings, so you can always use that excuse to keep things simple if you need one.
I used to buy a loaf of bread and slice it up before a tasting, but now that I have sourdough bread baking in my kitchen arsenal, I usually bake a loaf, or more often, bake a few at a time and freeze them to be thawed overnight and warmed up in the stove just before hosting.
Worth noting: don’t forget your gluten-intolerant friends! If you know or suspect that some in your guest list need a gluten-free option, pick up some gluten-free crackers or other options so that no guest is left out of some much-needed sustenance between sips.
