Wineluck > Potluck

Urban Dictionary defines potluck as “an event where people bring a different dish each in order to create a complete meal.”

Wineluck Club tastings are events where people bring a different wine each in order to create a memorable tasting. The kind of wine tasting where you can learn something new without feeling intimidated or pressured to buy.

More than anything, Wineluck Club tastings are a reason to gather and share wine and stories.

And the best part: I’ve done all the planning work for you. You can just enjoy hosting, tasting, learning and making lifelong friends.

Why Wineluck Club Tastings Work

  • Collage with a woman in a black dress amidst clouds and butterflies, inside an open door, set against a lavender field backdrop with the text 'As a Host' in bold, floral-styled blue font.

    WHAT WORKS FOR YOU

    1. You don’t have to figure out how to make a “complete” wine tasting. You can just select a theme and assign the wines to your guests.

    2. You don’t have to buy all the wine.

    3. If the theme isn’t everyone’s favorite, it’s not your fault. It was selected at random.

    4. If the theme is everyone’s favorite, you can take all the credit! (even if it was selected at random)

  • Collage with cotton candy-like clouds, people dining behind an open window, fruits, and "As a Guest" text.

    WHAT WORKS FOR Y'ALL

    1. If the wine you brought isn’t everyone’s favorite, it’s not your fault. It was assigned to you.

    2. If your wine is everyone’s favorite, you can take all the credit! (even if it was assigned to you)

    3. You don’t have to do the complicated math of figuring out what you owe the host for buying all the wine.

    4. Most of the time, you’ll get lucky. You’ll find a wine you love, often one you didn’t expect and wouldn’t have chosen for yourself. You’ll learn more about what you like and what you don’t like. You’ll learn how to speak “wine,” and the whole wine thing will feel friendlier, like heading to a casual potluck instead of an intimidating connoisseur tasting.
